Join Carl Raymond, host of The Gilded Gentleman History podcast for this unique journey back in time. Carl will lead you on a tour of four floors of the house including the dramatic Greek Revival double parlors, the kitchen and the main bedrooms including the Servant’s Quarters at the top of the house. The Merchant’s House Museum was home to the wealthy Tredwell family from 1835 until the last surviving daughter died in 1935 and the home became a historic house museum.
The Merchant’s House Museum contains many of the family’s belongings including furniture, decorative arts and even their clothes to give an extraordinary and intimate view of life in 19th century New York.
